- Medium roast ground Arabica from the Rwenzori Mountains, Uganda. Natural process. Plum, dark chocolate, and brown sugar. Bright acidity, smooth body.
- 100% Arabica, natural (sun-dried) process. Cherries dried whole, hulled, hand-sorted, roasted, and ground.
- Roasted and ground in Kampala in small batches. Sealed within 24 hours. 50g makes about 6 to 8 cups. Try it before you commit to a bigger bag.
- Pre-ground, medium grind. Ready for drip, pour-over, or French press.

What's in the bag

50 grams of single-origin Arabica from the Rwenzori Mountains, natural processed and medium roasted, pre-ground. This is the sampler. Same Ntanda 31 as the 250g bag, just in a smaller format. Enough for 6 to 8 cups, depending on how strong you brew. Good for trying the coffee before you buy more, or for keeping in a desk drawer when you need a decent cup and the office instant is not cutting it.

How it tastes

Plum and dark chocolate up front. Brown sugar on the finish. Bright acidity that keeps the cup lively without tipping into sharp. Smooth body, clean through. Natural Arabica from the Rwenzoris drinks heavier and fruitier than washed coffee. If you usually buy washed and want to see what the other side tastes like, 50 grams is the cheapest way to find out.

Where it comes from

The Rwenzori Mountains run along Uganda's western border with Congo. Coffee grows on volcanic slopes between 1,500 and 2,200 metres. Nonda buys directly from smallholder farmers who dry the cherry at the farm. The dried cherry is hulled at a central station, hand-sorted, and graded. The farmer gets paid above the government-set farmgate.
